Repair & Warranty
BUSI outerwear is made to be ridden hard, season after season. If something fails that shouldn't, we'll sort it out.
What's covered
All BUSI products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship – for example failed seams, faulty zippers, delaminating fabric or hardware that breaks under normal use. Your statutory rights apply in full: as a minimum two years in the EU, three years in Sweden and up to five years in Norway for products meant to last considerably longer than normal, counted from the day you received the item.
What's not covered
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, pilling and worn cuffs or hems.
- Damage from edges, bindings, rails, crashes or abrasion.
- Damage caused by incorrect washing, bleach, fabric softener, direct heat or improper storage (see Product Care).
- Alterations or repairs done by anyone other than BUSI or a partner we've approved.
- Products bought second-hand or from unauthorised sellers.
How to make a warranty claim
- Go to Contact us and pick Repair & warranty. Fill in your order number (or the store and date of purchase if bought from a retailer), the product and the purchase date.
- Tell us briefly what happened and how the garment has been used and washed.
- Send a few clear photos of the issue, plus one of the whole garment and one of the care label – use the «E-mail us with photos» button under the message, or attach them when we reply.
If the claim is accepted, we repair, replace or refund – depending on what's possible and what you prefer. Return shipping for accepted claims is on us.
Repairs
We don't run our own repair workshop yet, so repairs are handled case by case. Small fixes such as zipper pulls, snaps and seam tears can often be solved by a local tailor or ski-shop service – send us a photo first and we'll tell you what makes sense, and we may cover the cost if it's a warranty issue. For anything bigger, we'll find the best solution together with you. When we have a repair partner in place, this page will be updated.
Bought from a retailer?
You're welcome to contact the shop you bought from, or reach out to us directly – whichever is easiest. Either way, keep your receipt.
Changed your mind, or wrong size?
That's a return or an exchange, not a warranty case. Both are handled in our returns portal – see our Return Policy.
